Water and Sewer Service line assignment calculation guide

A) Residential – Water Service Line:
Calculations pertaining to the sales of residential water service lines:

1. The prices of water service lines in the subsidiary companies of the Water and Wastewater Organization of Tehran for the city of Tehran with the breakdown of the 22 municipality districts and in other companies with the breakdown of the cities under their coverage have been detailed in separate tables.
2. Calculating the price of water service lines based on the municipality district (for the city of Tehran subscribers) and based on the city (for other subscribers of the province of Tehran).
3. Calculating the amount of note 2 clause (article) 1 (this amount is equal to 10% of the price of the water service lines).
4. Calculating the amount of note 3 clause 1.
5. Calculating the cost of water service line installation (supplies and wages); this cost is calculated based on the diameter of the service line.
6. Calculating the cost for the development of facilities from the related tables.
B) Residential – Sewer Service Line:
Calculations pertaining to the sales of residential sewer service lines:

1. The price for residential sewer service lines equates to 70% of the price for residential water service lines.
2. The prices of sewer service lines in the subsidiary companies of the Water and Wastewater Organization of Tehran for the city of Tehran with the breakdown of the 22 municipality districts and in other companies with the breakdown of the cities under their coverage have been detailed in separate tables.
3. Calculating the price of sewer service lines based on the municipality district (for the city of Tehran subscribers) and based on the city (for other subscribers of the province of Tehran).
4. Calculating the amount of note 3 clause 1.
5. Calculating the cost of excavation (considering the installation fee for the sewer service lines as it pertains to each subscriber is obtained; the cost of excavation listed in the related tables, without considering the number of units, will be received for each building once).
6. Calculating the cost of water service line installation (supplies and wages); this cost is calculated based on the diameter of the service line.
7. Calculating the cost for the development of facilities from the related tables.
C) Non-residential – Water Service Line:
Calculations pertaining to the sales of non-residential water service lines:

1. Determining the urban adjustment coefficient.
2. Estimation of the conventional capacity is as follows:
Conventional capacity = consumption volume per unit (cubic meters/month) x conventional capacity unit x conventional capacity adjustment coefficient
3. Calculating the price of water service line:
The price of water service line = urban adjustment coefficient x conventional capacity x 285.000
Note: For commercial water service lines, a charge of 1,140,000 rials called “the value of commercial water” is levied for every unit and added to the price of water service line.
4. Calculating note 2 clause 1: (equivalent to 10% of the price of the water service line).
5. Calculating note 3 clause 1: In the 22 districts of the city of Tehran Municipality, an amount of 960,000 rials is obtained from the subscribers for every cubic meter of the conventional capacity as per note 3 clause 1.
6. Calculating the cost for the development of facilities from the related tables.
7. Cultural, sports, educational and religious users are exempt from note 3 clause 1.
8. Administrative (offices) buildings using public income are exempt from note 2 clause 3.

D) Non-residential – Sewer Service Lines:
Calculations pertaining to the sales of non-residential sewer service lines:
1. The price for non-residential sewer service lines equates to 100% of the price for water service lines.
Note: For commercial sewer service lines, a charge of 1,140,000 rials called “the value of commercial sewer” is levied for every unit and added to the price of water service line.
2. In the 22 districts of the city of Tehran Municipality, an amount of 960,000 rails is obtained from the subscribers for every cubic meter of the conventional capacity as per note 3 clause 1.
3. Calculating the cost for the development of facilities from the related tables.
4. Cultural, sports, educational and religious users are exempt from note 3 clause 1.
5. Administrative buildings using public income are exempt from note 2 clause 3.


Important Notes:

1. The excavation cost will be obtained for each subscriber.
2. The cost listed in note 3 clause 1 will not be obtained from the subscribers of sewer service lines.
3. The cost listed in note 3 clause 1 is equal to 10% of the sum of the price of water service line and the value of commercial water.
4. The cost of working at night is equal to 10% of the cost of service line installation.
5. Only the cost of service line installation (supplies and wages) is not subject to exemption.
